The Jack and Jill of America Foundation-Jacqueline Moore Bowles scholarship will provide $2,250 need-based scholarships to returning college students who will be enrolled full-time at an accredited, post-secondary institution, and who will begin their junior or senior in the fall of 2019, majoring in Communications.

Students must:
– Submit an online application
– Be African American and a citizen or permanent resident of the United States.
– Submit a current transcript
– Submit a one-page essay of your career interest
– Have a cumulative GPA of a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
– Have a completed FAFSA with demonstrated need as verified by your institution’s financial aid office.
– Have a Reference Form from an individual who can certify that you have completed at least 60 or more community service hours.

Please allow 6-8 weeks from the close of this program for scholarship recipients to be selected. Both selected and non-selected students will be notified via email.

The Ahmanson Family Foundation Scholarship Program is open to undergraduate or graduate students at UNCF member schools who are from the greater Los Angeles, California area. No exceptions.
High school seniors are ineligible for consideration. All applicants must be currently enrolled as a college student. Candidates must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale. The scholarship will provide an award up to $5,000 depending on the financial need of the student as verified by the attending University or College.

The DTE Energy Foundation Scholarship Program is restricted to college juniors or seniors who are currently enrolled at UNCF member college or universities.

In addition, eligible applicants must:
1.Maintain 3.0 grade point average or better on 4.0 scale
2.Have a permanent residence in the Western Michigan area (Zip codes 49000-49599)
3.Declared major in mechanical, chemical or electrical engineering, information technology, or business
4.Complete FAFSA and have a demonstrated unmet need as verified by the financial aid office
5.Be college juniors or seniors enrolled as a full time at the time of application at a UNCF-affiliated institution

In addition, for award consideration applicants must write 1-page essay describing their career goals and aspirations and how this scholarship will assist in achieving those goals, submit one letter of recommendation from a professor or counselor, attach a copy of most recent unofficial or official transcripts, and complete the online application by the deadline.

Selected recipients will receive up to a $5,000 need-based 2-year renewable scholarship award (for juniors) during the 2019-2020 academic school year.

The HBCU Alliance Partners Scholarship Program is open to freshman, sophomores, juniors, and seniors, who attend an HBCU (Historically Black College or University). This is a need-based scholarship for Pell Grant eligible students. This scholarship will be awarded during the 2019-2020 academic year.

Students must submit a completed application which includes:
a letter of recommendation,
a personal statement,

The MUFG Union Bank Scholarship Program was established by the Union Bank Foundation in partnership with the UNCF. The Union Bank Scholarship Program is available to Juniors, Seniors or Graduate students who enroll full-time at a four year accredited colleges or universities in the fall of 2019.

Eligible applicants must:
1.Pursue a degree in Accounting, Banking, Business, Economics, Finance, or Information Technology,
2.Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.30 on a 4 point scale,
In addition, preference or priority will be given to candidates who are:
1.Permanent residents of California or New York or New Jersey and Arizona ,
2.First-generation college students (neither parents attended college or university).

For award consideration, eligible applicants must complete the online application with letter of recommendation, essay and most recent official transcript.
Selected students will receive a one-time $5,280 merit scholarship in the fall of 2019. In addition, the selected students may be contacted by Union Bank for a potential internship opportunity.
