The Jack and Jill of America Foundation-Jacqueline Moore Bowles scholarship will provide $2,250 need-based scholarships to returning college students who will be enrolled full-time at an accredited, post-secondary institution, and who will begin their junior or senior in the fall of 2019, majoring in Communications.
Students must:
– Submit an online application
– Be African American and a citizen or permanent resident of the United States.
– Submit a current transcript
– Submit a one-page essay of your career interest
– Have a cumulative GPA of a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
– Have a completed FAFSA with demonstrated need as verified by your institution’s financial aid office.
– Have a Reference Form from an individual who can certify that you have completed at least 60 or more community service hours.
Please allow 6-8 weeks from the close of this program for scholarship recipients to be selected. Both selected and non-selected students will be notified via email.
