The BASF/Alfred Chisholm Memorial Scholarship is available to undergraduate sophomore, junior and senior students enrolled at Historically Black Colleges and Universities. Due to the active participation of the BASF’s African American Employees Resource Group (AAEG), their relatives or sponsored students are strongly encouraged to apply.
To be fully considered for this scholarship, applicants must complete the online application and upload all required documents no later than November 8, 2019.
1. Two letters of recommendation: (1) from a faculty member familiar with the applicant’s academic abilities and (1) from a civic or community leader.
2. A Personal Essay using no more than 250 words. For details, please go to the essay section of the application.
3. A copy of applicant’s most recent Official Transcript.
Selected applicants will receive awards ranging from $2,500 – $5,000 for the 2019-2020 Academic Year. Individual award amounts will be based on need and criteria-based ranking based on application requirements
