Spelman receives $100,000 planning grant to improve career outcomes

Screenshot 2016-05-05 14.23.11The United Negro College Fund (UNCF) announced today that 30 historically black colleges and universities will receive planning grants from the Career Pathways Initiative to design programs and curricula to improve employment outcomes among their graduates. The CPI is funded by the Lilly Endowment. Spelman received $100,000 to bring faculty and staff together in a Design Thinking process to come up with new and effective ways of achieving the goal of 100% job or graduate school placement for graduating seniors.
