The AAP-UNCF Internship Program, sponsored in partnership with the Association of American Publishers, is seeking college juniors and seniors with an interest in pursuing a career in the publishing industry. Candidates will be selected to intern at AAP member publishing companies and work in departmental areas such as editorial, marketing, art, sales, subsidiary rights, audio and digital media, production, design and software and digital engineering based on their interests, qualifications and the company’s business needs.
PROGRAM COMPONENTS • Paid summer internships at leading publishing companies • Scholars matched with mentors from the companies where they are placed • Supplemental housing support as needed will be coordinated by UNCF

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA • African American student enrolled full time at an accredited, 4-year, historically black college or university (HBCU) • Juniors and seniors • Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale • U.S. citizen or a permanent resident
